Additional Information	04-15-2021, 10:31 AM - SWC JV Meet Anyone who is expected to score points in the Varsity Championship, should NOT be entered into the respective JV Meet May 5th - @ Amherst 4:30 PM Teams: Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Midview, North Ridgeville JV Meet @ Amherst Questions: Rob_glatz@amherst12.org Spectator Information: No admission - Free for spectators Concessions will be available Spectators need to be seated in the bleachers. Spectators cannot stand along the fence, especially at the finish line. Spectators may stand by the shot put and discus area but must sit in the bleachers to watch long jump, high jump, and pole vault. Spectators are required to be in masks and remain socially distanced. Coaching Information: Meet entry - Baumspage Head coaches of the host school for the JV meet has been added as meet delegates on Baumspage. JoAnn Kitchen will seed the meet. The seeded meet will be posted on Baumspage ASAP after the seeding. The windows close at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the meet. Event Assignments - We are assigning each school to run an event, please have a recording person and people who can help measure. Amherst Meet: Shot Put: North Ridgeville Discus: Midview High Jump: Avon Lake Long Jump: Avon Pole Vault: Amherst Finish line: Please plan to have staff/volunteer available to help at the finish line. Additional Meet Information: Shot put, discus, and long jump will have 4 attempts. No finals. All participants are required to wear ¼” or 1/8” spikes or flats. Participants should wear school issued uniforms. Please make marks for exchange zones and field events with tennis balls. NO chalk or tape will be permitted on the track or runways. We will have water for emergency purposes only. Covid Reminders: Spectators, Coaches, and Athletes are required to be in masks and socially distanced.
