1. The CCTime Program will convert data from Sydex Timer to be used with the Hy-Tek Cross Country Module!
   • Requires Sydex Timer
     • (Purchased separately from Sydex: www.sydexsports.com)
   • *Requires Hy-Tek Button Interface
     • (Purchased separately from Hy-Tek: www.hy-tekltd.com)
2. In Windows 95 or above, the installation program will automatically create a folder (subdirectory) called c:\cctime and install into that folder. 
   • If possible, choose the 1st Option to download the self-extracting zip file and install.
     1. 1st Option: (Preferred)
        • Download the self-extracting zip file: cctime.exe
        • Double-click cctime.exe to create the folder and install\
   • If not, use the 2nd Option and download the cctime.zip file and extract files.
     2. 2nd Option:
        • Download the zip file: cctime.zip
        • Create a new folder called c:\cctime
        • Use WinZip to extract files from cctime.zip into that folder.
3. Install Sydex Timer:
   • The default folder: c:\ccstat
   • Follow the Sydex documentation to create and time files
     1. Start Sydex Timer and set the File Save Name
        • Use a descriptive file name to identify each race:
        • Must use: CC??????.txt (Ex: CCd1b.txt or CCd3g.txt)
          • Always use CC at the start.
          • No more than 6 letters/numbers after the CC.
          • Then .txt at the end.
     2. Click on OK
     3. Click on START
        • Hit [Spacebar] as runners finish. 
     4. Click on STOP
        • Click on *Save*
        • Click on RETURN
     5. Click on Restart and go back to step 1 above.
4. Start the Conversion Program by double clicking on c:\cctime\autoexec.bat
   • Use <C> Convert Sydex CCTimer data to Sprint 8 Format
     • Type the "identifier" for the CC????.TXT file to be converted.
   • Depending on your situation, there are several options:
     • The Conversion Program must always run in \CCTIME.
     • The input data files must either be copied to \CCTIME or the path set to the Sydex Timer folder.
     • The output data files need to be "manually" copied to the Hy-Tek folder or the path set to it.
   • If using one computer for Sydex, the Conversion Program, and Hy-Tek.
     • Change the MEETPATH.FIL to point to the separate folders
       • Sydex Folder.......:\CCSTAT or whatever folder is used
       • Hy-Tek Folder......:\CCMEETS or whatever folder is used
       • Convert Folder.....:\CCTIME Always use \CCTIME
   • If using several different computers for each part, call for details.
     • Leave the MEETPATH.FIL pointing to the \CCTIME folders for all three!
       • Sydex Folder.......:\CCTIME
       • Hy-Tek Folder......:\CCTIME
       • Convert Folder.....:\CCTIME Always use \CCTIME
     • With this configuration, you will:
       • Need to create all the Sydex Timer files in the Sydex folder or on a disk and will need to copy all files into the c:\cctime folder.
       • You will use the Convert Folder to process the data.
       • You will copy the 04*.SP8 file to the Hy-Tek folder
         • Or set the path to the Hy-Tek folder to place it there automatically.
5. Start the CC/RR module from the Run Menu in Hy-Tek.
   • Highlight the event.
     • Enter the Ranks or read them using the Bar Code reader
     • Click on Read Times and select the correct data file: 04????.SP8
     • When done, click on Save.
   • Click on Match.
   • Click on Score.
6. Repeat for the other races.
