2025 Southeast District Soccer and Volleyball
Seeding and Voting Instructions
All team seeding and
voting will completed via www.baumspage.com. Teams will be seeded based on the ranks submitted by all
the coaches in their tournament.
This is a two-step process.

Bio
A. Window opens: 12:01 AM on Sunday, September 28
B. Window closes: 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 1
- Cast Your Vote
A. Window opens: 12:01 AM on Thursday, October 2
B. Window closes: 11:59 PM on Friday, October 3
1. Before the tabulation of the votes, a team’s highest and
lowest votes will be discarded and not be counted in the final tabulation.
2. A coach cannot vote for his/her own team. If cast as
such, the vote will be discarded.
3. Any team/coach who DOES NOT VOTE will have their team's
second highest vote discarded.
4. During the
team seed bio phase (step 1) of the process, the coach will only have access to
his or her own data while the team seed bio window is open.
5. After the
team seed bio window closes late Wednesday evening, team seed bio information
becomes available to all coaches within their assigned sectional.
6. When submitting team bio information, coaches
may comment on his/her own team, strength of schedule, key wins and other
pertinent information (i.e., return of injured player, etc.). Coaches are not to comment on other teams in
their sectionals.

Login Procedures:
Coaches that have
accounts may login to www.baumspage.com anytime during the season.
You are encouraged to login now to ensure you can access your account when you
need to.
1.
If you had an account last year,
login using that e-mail address and password.
2.
If you do not have an account, click
on Apply here and create an account.
3.
After you login, use Coaches | Select Teams | {select your school} click Get Available School Teams | click Select
Sport | select Soccer/Volleyball|
click Make me the Coach.
4.
Under Coaches on the left sidebar, click on Soccer/Volleyball | Event
Seeding | {select your team} click Get
Available Events | click Get Event
Details | click Submit Seeds and
Vote

Use the Submit Seeds and Vote link to access the event voting screens.

Southeast District Athletic Board Seed Policy and Procedure:
Per
the direction of the Southeast District Athletic Board, all teams in a
bracketed tournament will be seeded using a NCAA bracket. The board will
distribute online voting materials/instructions prior to the online voting period. There
will be no draw meeting held. Each
coach will need to submit their team’s bio
information by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 1. Furthermore, each coach will need to vote
and have his/her ballot submitted by Friday,
October 3, at 11:59 PM. Ties will be broken by highest frequency (total votes at that
seed line or higher). If a tie is not
breakable, a coin-flip will be conducted by the SEDAB. Seeded teams will be placed on the
NCAA bracket according to their seed.
Divisions
are organized into a super sectional with all teams in a division being
seeded. Teams will be placed on an NCAA
paired bracket according to their voted seed.
The final
tally and voting breakdown will be available on baumspage and the brackets will
be posted at https://www.ohsaa.org/SEDAB
at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 5.
Any school that does
not submit their team bio or cast their vote by the respective deadlines will
not be permitted to submit their team bio or vote at a later
time.
