OHSAA District Tournament Program Files

1. The District Tournament   Program is a complete tournament management package!
   • It is customized for the OHSAA State Tournament series and already includes school names and abbreviations used by the OHSAA
   • Most of the coach's names are correct but  manager will need to verify coach's names before the tournament starts!
2. All qualifier data will be imported from the Sectionals by unzipping and transferring a QUALIFY.ZIP file which they e-mail on Saturday night after their Sectional ends.
3. Barring unforeseen difficulties, district pairings can be posted before midnight on Saturday night and results can be posted as the tournament progresses .
   • Districts will use the State Tournament Formula and the four Sectionals will be randomly drawn for the pairings. No formula will be distributed to any sectional!
4. Tournament brackets, match score sheets, and results are printed for each round.
5. After the finals in each weight class, 1 page listing the 4 qualifiers and the alternate can be printed and used to verify the accuracy of the data.
6. When the tournament is over and all data is verified, one file QUALIFY.ZIP can be attached to an e-mail to gary@baumspage.com.
   • Everything is completed on Saturday and barring unforeseen difficulties, both the State Pairings and Participant list by school will be posted on a "private" web site  before midnight! (Only for OHSAA and District  personnel!)
   • There is no Sunday meeting and all other materials will be Overnight Mailed to the OHSAA on Sunday or Monday!
7. Please download (double-click the distour.exe (self-extracting zip) below) and experiment with the sample District Tournament Program as soon as convenient.
   • Experiment as you wish, then sometime before January 29th, attach the sample QUALIFY.ZIP file to an e-mail to gary@baumspage.com.
   • Download the actual District Tournament Program for your District after testing.
8. To establish communications between you and the sectionals we are asking them to send you or your designated computer person a sample QUALIFY.ZIP sometime before Jan. 29th!
9. If you are satisfied with the program you currently use, just use the District Manager Program and enter Finalists and State Qualifiers as they become known.
